Over a period of six months, a series of community outreach sessions are being held throughout the Los Angeles area to share and solicit ideas for the Grand Avenue Project. The initial outreach sessions took place in October and November, 2004 and provided an opportunity for community members to learn about the project and offer their input. These sessions are summarized in the Ideas and Principles pages. Follow up sessions will be held in February when the community will have the chance to comment further on the preliminary plans. In order to reach a broad audience, community outreach sessions will be held in Downtown LA, South LA, Eastside, the San Fernando Valley, and Westside/Hollywood areas.
